Indianapolis International Airport Employs Telos ID Designated Aviation Channeling Service for Employee and Contractor Threat Assessments

Nation's Eighth Largest Cargo Center Benefits from Increased Efficiency and Flexibility of TSA-Authorized Service

ASHBURN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Telos Identity Management Solutions, LLC (Telos® ID) has been selected by the Indianapolis Airport Authority to provide Designated Aviation Channeling (DAC) services for processing employee and contractor security threat assessments at Indianapolis International Airport.

Telos ID is one of three vendors selected by Transportation Security Administration to provide airports and airlines with aviation channeling services, and is the first to be certified under the TSA agreement.

"Timely employee threat assessments are essential to airport operations," said Telos ID President Mark Griffin. "We welcome IND to the rapidly growing list of airports enjoying the efficiencies of Telos ID's DAC services."

Aviation channeling services are used to submit employee information to TSA to conduct the employee threat assessments that are required for individuals working in an aviation environment. TSA requires assessments to be conducted for all airport and airline employees with access to the secure areas of an airport, including baggage workers, ground maintenance workers and restaurant and retail employees.

Telos ID's DAC offering lets aviation-related employers more efficiently run their background check and badging operations. It meets TSA and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regulations for handling personally identifiable information, and as a Web-based solution, it allows users to securely access the system wherever they have an Internet connection. Telos ID also provides additional customer service options and more visibility and flexibility for its customers.
