Dr. Ramesh Misra Joins Aura Systems as Its President
EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aura Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: AUSI) is pleased to announce today the appointment of Dr. Ramesh Misra as the President of the Company. Dr. Misra holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. In addition to his technical background Dr. Misra has over 10 years experience as an industry analyst and financial analyst covering the Semiconductor and Alternative Energy sectors.
Prior to joining Aura, Dr. Misra was an analyst at a number of Wall Street firms including Brigantine Advisors, Collins Stewart, C.E. Unterberg, Towbin, and Citigroup. While at Collins Stewart he was one of Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street" Semiconductor Analysts. Prior to his Wall Street experience, Dr. Misra was the President of BiSquare Systems, where he established U.S. operations for an ASIC design and sub-system design company based in Asia. Dr. Misra also worked closely with product engineering groups and was responsible for helping transition Silicon-Germanium process technology from research labs into a high-volume production environment.
