Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas Receives Molex Americas Region Distributor of the Year Award
PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), announced today it has received the Molex Americas Region Distributor of the Year award. Avnet's executive management team accepted the award at a meeting in Phoenix. Molex, a one-source supplier of interconnect products, awards those relationships that demonstrate financial, operational and executive management excellence.
Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas received this award for achieving growth over fiscal year 2011 revenue, meeting the criteria for highest distributor growth over the prior year. Avnet not only achieved revenue growth, but it also attained a solid commitment to inventory and support of Molex initiatives as well as management interaction.
