CrowdStar heads to Broadway with Breakfast at Tiffany's on iOS, Android

The iconic film Breakfast at Tiffany's is being transformed into a Broadway show that will appear on stage this March. In anticipation of the show's release, CrowdStar has partnered with Lulamae Productions to release a mobile game inspired by the new play, which was of course inspired by the film.

The Breakfast at Tiffany's Broadway game stars Holly Golightly, a beautiful young woman that's hosting a lavish dinner party in her apartment. Things are going well until the men in attendance start to hit on Holly, leaving you to help defend our heroine from these "rats." You'll need to kick, slap or otherwise eliminate these awkward pests before the night's over so that you can dance with your sweetheart.

As you play through this new version of Breakfast at Tiffany's, you'll unlock up to eight new outfits for Holly, and will get to compete against your friends to see who can earn the most points in the process. The game itself seems to be more simplified than most, as it looks to work more as a way to publicize the new Broadway production than anything else.

"Mobile gaming has become a part of major TV shows and movie marketing, but this is the first big Broadway mobile game that also involves fashion," said CrowdStar CEO and co-founder Jeffrey Tseng, via a company release. "Our mobile- and gaming-focused take on 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' addresses this classic story in a way that we hope will allow women to role-play in the whimsy of this fashion icon, growing the show's reach through a broader audience on mobile to promote tickets sales for the Broadway production."
