EPS came in at $0.63. The 16 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.67 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.51 for Q1 were 22% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.65 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 52.4%, 110 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 12.9%, 370 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 10.7%, 340 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $1.79 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.74.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $7.12 billion. The average EPS estimate is $3.05.
The stock has a four-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 511 members out of 581 rating the stock outperform, and 70 members rating it underperform.
