Qlik Technologies Q4 Beats on Revenue, Net

Qlik Technologies has reported its Q4 and 2012 results. For the quarter, the company notched a 27% year-over-year increase in revenue, to $138 million, while non-GAAP net profit came in at $22 million ($0.25 per diluted share) against Q4 2011's $20 million ($0.23).

Analysts had been expecting around $127 million in revenue, and an EPS of $0.23.

For the full year, Qlik brought in $389 million in revenue, and $23 million in net profit ($0.26 diluted EPS). Those numbers were 21% higher and 1% lower, respectively, on an annual basis.


Going forward, the company expects $87 million-$91 million in revenue for the current quarter, and a per-share loss of $0.12-$0.15. The outlook for fiscal 2013 is rosier; the firm anticipates $465 million-$475 million in top line, and a profit of $0.39-$0.42 per share.
