First Ever (K)onvergence Summit Convenes in New York City June 17/18, 2013

EAST GRANBY, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today, over 800 top retirement plan investment advisers and investment analysts in the nation were invited to the first ever (K)onvergence Summit where they will have the opportunity to meet face‐to‐face with top portfolio managers from 10 leading investment management firms and complete due diligence on these firms simultaneously, sparing the need for multiple meetings. (K)onvergence will be held June 17 and 18, 2013 in New York City, NY. Speakers include Chief Investment Officers, portfolio managers, retirement plan investment analysts, and investment platform managers with an exclusive focus on defined contribution plans. (K)onvergence is by invitation only. Invited to attend are specialized defined contribution plan advisers, representing the largest retirement plan practices in the nation. Also participating are select advisory firm investment analysts and service provider investment platform managers.

"Having Chief Investment Officers and Portfolio Managers of 10 firms accessible at one single venue and ready to answer our inquiries makes our due diligence process more efficient. This event will further enhance the quality of information we gather for the investment reviews we deliver to retirement plan sponsors and plan fiduciaries," says Stephen Popper, AIF®, Managing Director, SageView Advisory Group.

(K)onvergence was born of the realization that there were no industry‐wide 401(k) plan conferences for Advisers and Analysts with an exclusive focus on investment funds. The program will consist of general sessions addressing relevant macro themes as well as breakout sessions where Advisers and Analysts may hear first-hand from portfolio managers. Additionally, there will be sessions for attendees to discuss best practices for asset allocation models, analytical tools, and the role of fees in the construction of retirement plan investment menus and opportunities for registered attendees to meet in small groups with select portfolio managers. Ten investment management firms sponsor (K)onvergence including:

• American Century Investments

• Franklin Templeton Investments

• Goldman Sachs Asset Management

• J.P. Morgan Asset Management

• John Hancock Mutual Funds
