NorthStar Realty Finance Increases Dividend

NorthStar Realty Finance has declared its latest quarterly dividend. For its Q4 completed at the end of last year, the company is to pay $0.18 per share of its common stock on March 1 to shareholders of record as of the end of Feb. 25. The new dividend represents a 6% increase over the last disbursement, which stood at $0.17 and was paid last November.

The increase represents the sixth straight boost in the company's quarterly disbursement, from a base of $0.10 per share distributed in August 2011.

NorthStar's new payout annualizes to $0.72, yielding just under 9% on the current share price of $8.08.


The company is to unveil its Q4 results in a conference call tomorrow morning.
