NetApp Q3 Net Beats Expectations

NetApp has reported results for its fiscal Q3 2013 that compare favorably with last year. For the quarter, non-GAAP net income was $243 million ($0.67 per share) on $1.63 billion. In Q3 2012, the company netted $216 million ($0.58 EPS) on $1.57 billion in revenue.

Analysts were expecting $1.63 billion and EPS of $0.56 for this most recent quarter.

The company also provided forward guidance for its Q4. It expects to post revenue of $1.7 billion to $1.8 billion in the period, with EPS coming in at $0.65 to $0.70. That is broadly in line with analyst projections of $1.75 billion and $0.65, respectively.
