CSX Declares Quarterly Dividend

Updated

CSX has declared its first dividend for 2013. The company is to pay $0.14 per share of its common stock on March 15 to stockholders of record as of the end of Feb. 28. That payout matches that of the company's previous three quarters. Before that, CSX had disbursed $0.12 per share.

The dividend announcement comes less than a month after the company announced its fiscal 2012 results, in which it posted a 6% year-over-year increase in net profit.

The $0.14-per-share dividend annualizes to $0.56, for a yield of 2.5% on the company's current share price.
