CastleVille 'Yvette Goes Green' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

Item storage has long been one of the biggest issues in CastleVille, as players' Kingdoms are full of crafting buildings, ingredient stalls and more, and even when we unlock new land expansion squares, they tend to be full of brand new items, and don't offer much free space to stretch our virtual legs. With the game's newest quest series however, we'll be able to store up to 42 buildings, while not losing access to their items. There are nine quests to complete in the Yvette Goes Green quest series, and we're here with a complete guide to finishing them off, thanks to Zynga.

A Clean Sweep

  • Place the Tradesman's Tower

  • Tend 3 Flowers

The Trademan's Tower is a rather large item, but it comes with multiple building stages, and will eventually hold those 42 (or less) "support buildings," like the Smelter, Yulefest Tree, Gloom Contraption and much more. These are the sorts of buildings that you may not want to get rid of, but you may not use everyday, and therefore don't need them cluttering up your land. Still, you'll still gain access to the items they create (where applicable), so this is more than your average storage building. When you complete this first quest, you'll receive 1,000 coins and 20 XP.

Supply and Demand

  • Complete the Tradesman's Tower

  • Clear 3 Grass

  • Sell 3 Items

The Items can be anything, so feel free to sell flowers, duplicate decorations or something altogether different. You can even purchase three throwaway items and then sell them immediately to complete this quest. Meanwhile, the Tradesman's Tower is built using four Detergents, six Wood Planks, two Bronze Bars, and two Green Fairy Elixirs. You can ask your friends to send you the Detergents, and you can also technically get your friends to send you Wood Planks as well, if you'd rather not craft them. When you complete this second quest, you'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP.

Using the Tradesman's Tower

  • Have 4 Compost Bins

  • Add 1 Support Building to the Tradesman's Tower

  • Collect from the Tradesman's Tower

The Compost Bins are earned by posting a general request to your news feed. At first, you'll only have room to store one Support Building inside the Tradesman's Tower, so just choose one to finish this task. For your reference, here's a breakdown of the "Support" buildings that you can store. You'll receive another 1,000 coins and 20 XP for completing this

Expand and Exploit

  • Expand the Tradesman's Tower to have 5 Storage Slots

  • Have 4 Support Buildings in the Tradesman's Tower

  • Use the Collect All Feature

You'll need to create Keys to unlock additional storage slots in the Tradesman's Tower. These "Supply Keys" are crafted inside the Workshop using two Aquamarine, five Beeswax, four Screws, and two Key Grinders each. The Key Grinders are earned by posting a general request to your news feed.

Each three keys you earn or craft will give you a single storage slot, so you'll need to collect enough keys (12) to unlock the four extra slots necessary for this quest. When you look inside the Tradesman's Tower, you'll see a big "Collect All" button at the bottom that is used to collect from all of the appropriate buildings inside the Tower at once. You'll need to use the same amount of energy as normal to collect from these buildings, but if you choose to only collect from one or two buildings, you can simply click on each's individual "Collect" button in this Tower menu. Completing this quest gives you another 1,750 coins and 35 XP.

A Pleasant Picnic

  • Have 4 Picnic Blankets

  • Craft 2 Egg Grogs

  • Fish 3 Times

The Picnic Blankets are earned by posting a general request on your news feed, while the Egg Grogs are created inside the Kitchen. These require items like Ice Chunks, Eggs, and Ogres' Belches to create, and each one is made over a period of 15 minutes. You'll earn 1,750 coins and 35 XP for completing this quest.

A Speedy Supply Spell

  • Cast the Speedy Supply Spell

  • Expand the Trademan's Tower to have 9 Storage Slots

  • Use the Collect All Feature in the Tradesman's Tower

The Speedy Supply Spell is a blue celestial spell that will make up to three buildings stored inside the Tradesman's Tower ready. It is crafted using items like Bags of Sand and Alchemist Powders. Remember, you'll need to keep crafting Keys in order to expand your storage capacity, or you can purchase them outright with Crowns if you don't want to wait. After you finish this quest, you'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP.
A Plethora of Product

  • Sell 1 Parchment

  • Craft 1 Bottle of Champagne

  • Craft 2 Wooden Clubs

If you don't have a Parchment in your inventory, you can craft one using four Wood Logs and six Cotton. This Parchment will

take seven minutes to craft. As for the Bottle of Champagne, this is created inside the Kitchen using eight Pails of WAter, two Sugar, six Grapes, and five Glass Bottles. Finally, the Wooden Clubs are made inside the Workshop using five Wood Logs and one Alchemist Powder each. After you finish this quest, you'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP.

Maximizing Supply

  • Expand the Tradesman's Tower to have 16 Storage Slots

  • Store 4 Additional Support Buildings in the Tradesman's Tower

  • Use the Collect All Feature of the Tradesman's Tower

Again, you'll need to keep crafting Supply Keys in order to unlock additional storage slots, so make sure you're using your building materials wisely throughout this entire event. You'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP when you complete this quest.

Breathe the Air!

  • Expand the Tradesman's Tower to have 24 Storage Slots

  • Craft 2 Cupcakes

  • Craft 2 Bubbly Grog

The Cupcakes are each crafted inside the Kitchen using Batter and Sprinkles, while the Bubbly Grog is made using Pails of Water and Ogres' Belches. You'll receive 1,750 coins, 35 XP, and a Giovanni Sculpture for your Kingdom when you complete this last quest. You'll still have more storage slots to unlock before finishing this entire event, but your Kingdom should still be looking a lot cleaner by the time you reach this point. Good luck!
