IMAGINiT Technologies Earns Autodesk Wisconsin DOT Training Certification

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Rand Worldwide (OTCBB: RWWI), a global leader in providing technology solutions to organizations with engineering design and information technology requirements, today announced that Jay Meszar, a solutions consultant with the IMAGINiT Technologies division, has been awarded the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Training Certification (WisDOT) for Autodesk products. By surpassing the curriculum and exam requirements and showing an in-depth knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, the WisDOT workflow and the importance of 3D model development, Meszar has been one of the few to earn the distinction of being a WisDOT Certified Trainer.

Starting in mid-2014, all WisDOT roadway design projects must be done using Civil 3D. WisDOT is taking the initiative to certify trainers on the new workflows and deliverable requirements as an increased proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D will create better products and also help mitigate risks in projects moving forward.

"As design technology consultants, trainers, support experts and more, our global team is constantly earning worthy designations so that we can advise our customers on the latest technologies and workflows, as well as our proven in-the-field, business acumen," says Bill Zavadil, senior vice president of worldwide services, IMAGINiT Technologies. "This certification will help us to continue to deliver our high-level of customized training as well as adding insight to our clients who are working on transportation related projects."

IMAGINiT's civil engineering specialists continue to speak at conferences, author articles and advise customers on the best practices for building information modeling in the civil field. With a focus on excellence and a passion for success, organizations engage IMAGINiT to not just implement software, but to achieve their business objectives.
