Global Data Center Services Provider CyrusOne Launches Virtual Tour of Its Phoenix Data Center
Virtual tour highlights 1,000,000-square-foot Arizona facility, which will be one of the largest and most energy-efficient in the United States
The CyrusOne Phoenix Data Center was completed in a record-setting seven months from the start of construction in May 2012. It has already commissioned more than 36,000 feet of space, and its facility footprint is expected to include nearly 1,000,000 square feet with power capacity of 100 megawatts delivered from an on-site substation. The master-planned campus is built on 56 acres of land and offers data center space plus Class A office space. The campus is designed using CyrusOne's unique Massively Modular® engineering methods to enable quick deployment of customer data center requirements, including purpose-built dedicated facilities, as well as shared infrastructure solutions.
"The CyrusOne Phoenix data center is one of the largest of its kind in the country," said Scott Brueggeman, chief marketing officer at CyrusOne. "We are pleased to offer a virtual tour that shows how the elements built into the facility's design will easily enable customers to scale their environments based on their changing IT requirements. This location is well suited for Fortune 500 companies on the West Coast requiring robust data center infrastructure for mission-critical applications and wanting to locate in an area considered one of the safest in the country—free from natural disasters including seismic activity, tornadoes, and hurricanes."
