ChefVille 'German Expertise' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

If you've been eyeing that Bavarian Market expansion on the outskirts of your ChefVille restaurant, you'll now have a chance to unlock it, as the third and final set of dishes within the Hofbrau Skillet is now available to unlock. Of course, this is easier said than done, as the upgrade comes with a set of three new quests called Return to Germany. Thankfully, these quests aren't timed, so you can work on them at your own pace. We're here with a complete guide to finishing these Return to Germany quests, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

German Expertise

  • Upgrade Hofbrau Skillet to Expert

  • Server 2 Onion Cakes

  • Craft 4 Dough on the Mixer

The Hofbrau Skillet upgrade requires five German Glee, four Bavarian Bravado, five Lederhosen Lessons, five Wurst Wisdom, and seven Sauerkraut Science items to complete. The Lederhosen Lessons and Wurst Wisdom items are earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbors, while the other three sets of items can be earned by posting general requests to your news feed.

The Onion Cakes are one of five new dishes that you'll unlock when you complete this upgrade, and it's located at the far end of the list of five, meaning that it will likely take the least amount of time to cook. As for the Dough, these can be created using two Dough and one Milk each in the Mixer. When you complete this quest, you'll receive a Green Sauerkraut, 15 XP, and 50 coins.

Meed the Beets

  • Place and Finish the Beet Market Stall

  • Give Chef's Service with Beet Salad 4 Times

  • Tend the Beet Market Stall 5 Times

Thankfully, this Beet Market Stall can be used for more than just this German event, as the current Valentine's Day event requires plenty of Beets as well. Thankfully, you can work on this Beet Market Stall even while you're still working on the Hofbrau Skillet upgrade, so make sure to purchase one from the store for 2,000 coins as soon as you're able. This item requires three energy to unwrap, and then requires five For-Sale Signs, four Vegetable Scrubbers, and four Beet Baskets to complete. The Vegetable Scrubbers can be earned by posting a general news item on your wall, while the other two items are earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbors. Completing this second quest gives you a Chicken Broth, 15 XP, and 50 coins.

Germany in a Bowl

  • Place and Build the Broth Crate

  • Tend the Broth Crate 3 Times

  • Serve Knoephla 2 Times

The Broth Crate may be another building project, but I have a feeling it's one you're going to like. Every time it's tended, it will drop a random Broth ingredient for your dishes. Since Broths tend to require some of the most ingredients to create (or are at least a pain to create), this should ease your pain a bit. Unfortunately, this Broth Crate apparently doesn't appear in your store until you've reached this quest, as we still don't have it available to us to build. It could also be a case of the item not rolling out yet to all players, since it isn't required until this third quest anyway. Either way, make sure to keep an eye out for it when you can finally build one. Completing this final quest in this series gives you a Red Sauerkraut, 50 XP, and 50 coins. Good luck completing them all!
