NAFE Top Companies Lead Nation in Commitment to Female Leadership

NEWARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The National Association for Female Executives, NAFE, has named Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYS: PRU) a Top 10 company on its list of the "Top 50 Companies for Executive Women." This is the 13th year Prudential has received recognition for its practices and policies advancing the careers of women.


The NAFE Top Companies survey evaluates companies on multiple aspects of women's advancement, including succession planning, profit-and-loss roles, gender pay parity, support programs and work-life programs.

The 2013 NAFE Top 50 Companies application includes more than 200 questions on female representation at all levels, but especially the corporate officer and profit-and-loss leadership ranks. The application also tracks access and usage of programs and policies that promote the advancement of women, as well as the training and accountability of managers in relation to the number of women who advance.
