With the vast majority of gaming's stars being overtly masculine, bald marine-types, teenage ladies (and like-minded young men) is likely one of the most under-served demographics in the business. Conde Nast and Teen Vogue seem to want to change that with yet another gaming project, Teen Vogue Me Girl, a collaboration between the magazine publisher and developer Frenzoo.

It's not exactly the project packed with strong, fearless women facing insurmountable odds that would fill that void--the new Tomb Raider might do the trick. But is that even the point of the Teen Vogue edition of the popular Me Girl series? This 3D fashion role-playing game seems designed to simulate the Teen Vogue experience for those who dream of one day working at a major fashion magazine like, ahem, Teen Vogue.

Available for free on iOS and Android, Teen Vogue Me Girl sees players complete various tasks styling models, editors and celebrities for the layout of the magazine, the cover shoots, strolls on the red carpet and more. We're told that the game features a simulated version of the Teen Vogue fashion closet with items hand-picked by the magazine's editors.

"Teen Vogue represents a multi-platform millennial generation, and gaming is a medium we have had our eye on for a few years now. The growing trend of young female gamers is exploding, especially on mobile devices, and the timing was finally right for us to expand into the space," Teen Vogue Editor-In-Chief Amy Astley said in a release. "Since our audience is also incredibly career focused, we wanted our game to have elements of fashion and career, and this game encompasses both. Teen Vogue's audience is extremely mobile-savvy, always on their smartphones and tablets, so we wanted a way to reach them on a new and exciting media platform with a product that is fun and true to our brand."

Teen Vogue Me Girl isn't for the girl or boy seeking courageous adventure, it's for the one working toward his or her dream job. And if we had to guess, there's a good amount of Teen Vogue readers that would like to one day work at a place like Teen Vogue. If you're one of them, you don't have much to lose in giving Teen Vogue Me Girl a shot.
