Stargate SG-1: Unleashed is real, and its trailer looks amazing

If you're like me, the cancelation of Stargate SG-1 is still a scar on your memory, as the show's fascinating science fiction setting was cut short long before we would have liked. Still, Jack O'Neill, Samantha Carter, Teal'c and more live on in the virtual world, including in a new game from Arkalis called Stargate SG-1: Unleashed.

There are very few details about the game so far, save for the fact that it's an episodic adventure game that will launch across iOS and Android tablets sometime this Spring (likely in March). IGN has posted a teaser trailer for the game, which shows us the series' iconic characters, including Dr. Jackson, who finds himself in more than a spot of trouble.

Any details as to the price of Stargate SG-1: Unleashed are still under wraps, but we'll make sure to update this space as we learn more. Now, if you're excuse me, I need to go pick my jaw up off of the floor.
