Cintas to the Rescue on Spike TV's "Bar Rescue"

Cintas helps revamp struggling bars on third season of bar makeover series

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today, Cintas Corporation (NAS: CTAS) announced that it will appear in the upcoming season of Spike TV's series, "Bar Rescue." Throughout the entire third season, Cintas teams up with host and nightlife consultant Jon Taffer to help turn around underwater watering holes across the country. The third season of "Bar Rescue" premieres Sunday, February 10th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Spike TV.

"Bar owners have so much passion for the success of their business, but often don't understand the specific ways to increase customer satisfaction and boost profits," said David Mesko, Senior Director of Marketing and Strategy, Cintas Corporation. "Our services will not only help the featured bars, but can serve as a working example for others that want to improve."

Each episode of "Bar Rescue" highlights a troubled tavern in desperate need of a complete operational and aesthetic makeover. Taffer, an award-winning bar and nightclub industry expert, uses a tough-love approach and proven scientific methods to teach bar owners how to turn their failing businesses into thriving, profitable establishments.

To get bar flooring clean and free of odors, Cintas professionals will perform tile and carpet deep cleaning services on upcoming episodes. Following the unique four-step process, drinking establishment floors will be free of odor, discoloration and any residue left behind by previous cleaning methods. Carpeted areas will also be treated with a stain repellant to help minimize future staining from spilled drinks, food and foot traffic.

To help the bars improve their image, Cintas will also provide its Signature Series designer restroom dispensers. The Signature Series comes in a variety of colors, which will help each bar extend their brand throughout restrooms. The colorful dispensers for soap, paper, air fresheners and trash receptacles feature a soft coat finish, which is resistant to fingerprints and bacteria—a key feature in a busy bar environment.

On select episodes, Cintas will also provide its Sanis Ultraclean restroom deep cleaning services, floor mats and chemical dispensing units. Through the comprehensive Cintas solutions, the bars will improve guest satisfaction and profitability long after the TV crew departs.
