SunCoke Energy Beats on Both Top and Bottom Lines

EPS came in at $0.39. The six earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $0.32 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.39 for Q4 were 255% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.11 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 18.0%, 750 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 9.0%, 800 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 5.6%, 370 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $427.2 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.11.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $1.76 billion. The average EPS estimate is $0.72.
