Standex Food Service Opens Culinary Development Center

Centrally Located Facility to Be Used for Training, Product Development and Key Customer Visits

SALEM, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Standex International Corporation today announced that its Food Service Equipment Group has opened the Standex Culinary Development Center in Allen, Texas. The new 21,000 square foot facility will be used for training, product development and key customer visits. It also serves as the corporate office for the Cooking Solutions Group of companies, including APW Wyott, Bakers Pride, BevLes, TriStar and BKI. The Culinary Development Center features a state-of-the-art demonstration center equipped with the most innovative equipment offered by the Standex family of Cooking and Refrigeration brands. The facility is centrally located north of Dallas, Texas in a region where many national chains are headquartered.

Our sales representatives also will be using the Culinary Development Center to better understand the features and benefits of our comprehensive hot and cold offerings."

To launch the new Culinary Development Center, Standex Food Service Equipment Group recently held an intensive two-day training session for its sales representatives. The session highlighted new product lines that Standex will be introducing at the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers Show from February 7-9 in Orlando, Florida.
