SAIC Wins Army National Guard Contract Worth Up to $58 Million

On Tuesday,government IT contactor SAIC announced that it has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Army National Guard worth up to $58 million to operate, modernize, expand, and improve the Guard's Enterprise Operations and Security Services (EOSS) concept.

Among other services, SAIC will be helping to transition the Guard's "traditional IT operation model" into a "services-oriented, Information Technology Infrastructure Library-based concept of operations."

This is a single-award, firm fixed-price contract for one year initially, but with four one-year options to extend the contract. It will take renewals of the contract for all four subsequent one-year periods to raise the value of the contract to the full $58 million.
