Paragon Picks a New Chief Financial Officer

Updated

On Tuesday, dry bulk shipper Paragon Shippingannounced that after more than two years serving as its "financial officer," Robert Perri can finally add "chief" to his title. Up until this time, company founder, President, Executive Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer Michael Bodouroglou had also been serving as interim chief financial officer. As of today, he's handed that last office off to Perri.

Paragon Shipping, which is based in Voula, Greece, operates a fleet of 12 dry bulk vessels that ply the seas laden with iron ore, coal, grain, and other materials. Its shares closed down 2.6% Tuesday, ahead of the CFO announcement.
