Immersion Tactile Effects Launch in NTT DOCOMO ELUGA X P-02E Smartphone by Panasonic

Integrates Immersion TouchSense 3000 and Integrator software, giving consumers the power to customize their tactile user experience

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Immersion Corporation (NAS: IMMR) , the leading developer and licensor of touch feedback technology, today announced that the recently released "docomo NEXT series ELUGA X P-02E" smartphone manufactured by Panasonic, has launched with Immersion technology. The smartphone, which includes Immersion's TouchSense® 3000 embedded control software and Integrator software, is the first to market as a result of a new license agreement between Immersion and Panasonic.

The ELUGA X smartphone is only available in Japan through NTT DOCOMO. The ELUGA X boasts a thin, waterproof design, using Android 4.1.2.
