ChefVille 'Madeline's Exotic Cookstation' Quests: Everything you need to know

It looks like Zynga has finally started to listen to player complaints about an overabundance of quests that have been released over the past few weeks in ChefVille, but the way the team is going about fixing this issue might not be any better. Instead of waiting to release more content, Zynga has released a new set of quests surrounding "Madeline's Exotic Cookstation," but the development team has chosen to release this quest series to only a "random set of players," with no guarantee that the rest of us will ever be able to play along. Considering that these quests come with a limited edition decoration as a reward, I can't imagine many players will be that excited about being left out.

For those of you that are lucky enough to receive these quests, we're here with a guide to help you get started, thanks to Zynga. Let's go!

Chef on a Half Shell

  • Place the Oyster Bar

  • Unlock Basic Recipes by Gathering Oysters

  • Harvest 10 Mixed Greens


Since we're not one of the lucky players that have received these quests, we'll have to assume that the Oyster Bar is built using a combination of energy and friend requests sent directly to your friends or posted on your news feed. As for the Oysters, these are likely also earned from friends, but the Mixed Greens can be earned in your own restaurant manually. You can collect from many kinds of plants or bushes to receive Mixed Greens, so if you're looking to get this quest over quickly, feel free to purchase more cheap plants from the store that you can harvest. You'll receive one Cayenne, one Lemon, and 10 coins for completing this quest.

Shelling Out Flavor

  • Make 5 Oyster Rockefeller on the Oyster Bar

  • Serve 3 Oyster Bisque

  • Place and Build the Cayenne Pepper Pot


This Cayenne Pepper Pot is also being held back from most players, but it likely requires even more energy to unwrap and either building materials or friends-as-staff to complete. Completing this quest gives you one Bread, one Milk, and one Vinegar.

Fresh Catch

  • Have 18 Oysters

  • Collect 8 More Milk

  • Harvest Cayenne Pepper Pot 2 Times


The Oysters will allow you to unlock the Intermediate level of the Oyster Bar, and will therefore unlock more dishes for you to cook. You'll receive two Onions, a Hot Sauce, and 10 coins for completing this quest.



Frittered Away

  • Serve 8 Fried Oysters

  • Cook 3 Frittered Oysters

  • Make 4 Oyster Cream Dip




You'll receive another Hot Sauce, two Garlic, and one Oyster for completing this fourth quest of five.

On the Half Shell

  • Ask for 5 Oyster Baskets

  • Cook 5 Oysters on the Half Shell

  • Give 5 Chef's Services with Oysters with Mignonette


The Oyster Baskets will be earned via either a general news post on your wall or individual requests sent to friends. When you finish this final quest, you'll receive a Madeline Portrait that you can hang on your restaurant's wall, a Cayenne Pepper, and a Mignonette Sauce.

These quests will have a time limit if you have already received them, and they apparently aren't the last in the entire "Exotic Cookstation" event. If these quests start to roll out to additional players, or we find out more about them, we'll make sure to let you know.
