Robert Seward Joins North American Bancard to Drive PayAnywhere Product Leadership

Payments industry veteran to manage product evolution and delivery of leading mobile POS solution

TROY, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- North American Bancard (www.nabancard.com), provider of the PayAnywhere mobile point of sale payment solution, today announced Robert Seward has joined the company as vice president of product management. In this role, Seward oversees the company's product strategy, planning, management and the delivery of market-leading technology solutions to merchant customers.

"With more than twenty years in the global payments industry and specific experience working directly with merchant retailers, the addition of Rob to the leadership team is a huge win for the company," said Marc Gardner, president and CEO of North American Bancard and PayAnywhere. "As we evolve the PayAnywhere solution to meet the POS needs of modern merchants, Rob's fresh perspective and track record for successful growth and innovation will keep our product and service offering at the front of the pack. Expect big things from PayAnywhere with Rob driving our product innovation."

Seward joins NAB after leading ACI Worldwide's merchant retail division where he served as a product line manager, driving ACI's efforts in achieving substantial customer, revenue and margin growth. During his tenure at ACI, the division successfully executed against a five-year product strategy, exceeding its division objectives and expanding into a global organization. Prior to ACI, Seward held product and market development roles for MasterCard, TSYS Acquiring Solutions, First Data, and Old Kent Bank and Trust.

"North American Bancard is a pioneering, driven organization, focused on delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to a complicated merchant marketplace which is desperate for innovations that can drive cost savings and new efficiencies," Seward stated. "Combining that ambition with the strength of the PayAnywhere brand and the payment industry experience of NAB, we will transform the POS business and provide the SMB market with solutions previously deemed too expensive or out of reach."
