Aqua America Declares Its First Dividend of 2013

Aqua America has declared its latest quarterly dividend. The company is to disburse $0.175 per share on March 1 to stockholders of record as of the close of Feb. 15.

In doing so, the Pennsylvania-based utility has kept its payout equal with that of its most recent disbursement, which was paid in November. Before that, it was a penny lower at $0.165.

At an annualized rate, Aqua America's dividend produces a yield of 2.6% on the current share price.


In the news release announcing the new disbursement, the company pointed out that it has paid a quarterly dividend for more than 65 years.
