Just because the big boys (consoles) are getting some heavy hitters during the month of February, doesn't mean that the handheld market is to be forgotten. The 3DS particularly has some amazing games coming out, one of which you need to buy if you own a 3DS. From tactical RPGs, soccer, racing and some ninja action, you're sure to find something worth making your wallet thinner for.

Fire Emblem: Awakening - February 4th (3DS)

The Fire Emblem series is Nintendo's most hardcore tactical RPG games to date. Awakening is set to continue that trend on the Nintendo 3DS, however the game does offer modes to ease new players into the series, without sacrificing depth.

From epic battles, to finding love, marriage and even starting a lineage, Fire Emblem Awakening is no slouch when it comes to the amount of content offered.

We're currently hard at work on our review, but we can give you a hint, It's absolutely brilliant! We're going to go on a limb and say if you own any of the 3DS hardware, Fire Emblem is an absolute must buy.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time - February 5th (Vita)

Sly Cooper returns in a whole new time traveling adventure. This time though as Sly travels through time, he'll come across various Cooper ancestors that will all be playable.

Some of these ancestors include Rioichi Cooper from feudal Japan, Bob Cooper, a caveman ancestor, and Salim al Kupar, an Arabian Cooper. Each of these playable characters will have various gameplay elements and mechanics.

Thieves in Time is also available as part of Sony's Cross Buy promotion, meaning you can buy the PS3 version, and then get access to the Vita version for free!

Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 - February 12th (3DS)

There are 16 dynamically changing courses which will have you racing on the street, then continue the race in air, or even on water. Thanks to the ability to transform each vehicle depending on the course makes ever race just as engaging.
