Miami Heat's Chris Bosh Renting Home in Pacific Palisades for How Much?!
Miami Heat power forward Chris Bosh's ventures into real estate are nothin' but net. First, he bought a drop-dead gorgeous $12 million home in Miami Beach, Fla., in 2010. Now, on the other end of the country, he's trying his hand at being a landlord (of a super-luxe mansion, of course). Bosh is putting his gigantic Pacific Palisades, Calif., home up for rent for a staggering $45,000 a month, The Real Estalker reported.
It's a pretty fast turnaround, considering that Bosh and his wife, Adrienne, just bought the sprawling 10,755-square-foot spread for $9.4 million in December. As Zillow points out, the move to rent out the home likely isn't about money. Bosh's $16 million salary should tide him over quite nicely. So why the sudden urge for the basketball star to become a landlord? Who cares? Let's just get to the house!
The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion has one unique feature that we could really use to satisfy our late-night munchies: a pizza oven in the kitchen. (Although we don't suggest attempting to whip up a pie after you've been out at the bar until 2 a.m.) The house is a beacon of entertainment, with a home movie theater and a bar with pool table. Luxury is a given: There's a wood-wrapped home office with fish tank, a master suite with giant dual closets -- even a place for "staff quarters." Outside, take a dip in the infinity pool, lounge in the cabanas or grab a drink at the swim-up bar.
