EPS came in at $0.59. The seven earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.90 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.68 for Q2 were 17% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.82 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 25.7%, 140 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 6.5%, 180 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 4.5%, 80 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.

Looking ahead
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $1.08 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.80.

Next year's average estimate for revenue is $4.28 billion. The average EPS estimate is $3.41.
