Carbon Friendly Submits Additional Patent Applications for Microcoal

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Carbon Friendly Solutions Inc. (CNSX: CFQ) (the "Company" or "Carbon Friendly") is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, MicroCoal Inc. ("MCI"), has extended its existing base of patents on its MicroCoal™ technology and submitted a US patent application (the "Application") based on a provisional patent application filed in 2012.

The Application is related to the apparatus and methods of treating a solid material by exposing the solid material to electromagnetic radiation, which includes microwave and radiofrequency radiation. Further, the Application broadly applies the apparatus and methods to coal, other fossil fuels and cellular biomass.
