Visa Declares Quarterly Dividend
Visa has declared its first dividend of 2013. The quarterly payout will be $0.33 per class A common stock, and on an as-converted basis for the company's class B and C shares. The dividend will be disbursed on March 5 to shareholders of record as of the end of February 15.
On an annualized basis, that dividend equates to a yield of 0.8%.
The payout matches the previous amount, which was handed out last November. Prior to that, Visa had disbursed $0.22 per share.
In recent times, the company has generally raised its dividend once every year.
