The Pantry Schedules Release of First Quarter Results and Conference Call

CARY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Pantry, Inc. (NAS: PTRY) , a leading independently operated convenience store chain in the southeastern U.S., today announced that it will release its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2013 before the market opens on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Dennis G. Hatchell, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Berry L. Epley, Vice President and Corporate Controller of The Pantry, will host an interactive conference call that morning at 8:30 a.m. EST.

A live audio webcast will be accessible through the Investors section of the Company's web site at www.thepantry.com, and a replay will be available for 30 days.
