F. Scott Fitzgerald's Historic Home for Sale in Baltimore

Updated

Bookworms will love the latest listing to catch our eye. Writer F. Scott Fitzgerald's Baltimore home is up for sale -- and owning a slice of American literary history comes at a surprisingly reasonable price. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom home where Fitzgerald wrote some of his greatest works is going for only $450,000.

You'll never forget the home's historic background: It comes with a blue plaque affixed to the front that details Fitzgerald's legacy while living there. It states that the literary genius published Tender Is the Night, Taps at Reveille and parts of The Crack-Up during his time in the home in the 1930s. An even better indicator of the home's past? It still maintains many of its original details from more than a century ago.

The 3,600-square-foot home was built in 1900, and we love the ornate fireplaces throughout. The tall windows and French doors harken back to the style of the day. There's a back porch that overlooks a quaint private garden. For more details, see the listing on Estately.com.
