Veteran Wasatch Portfolio Manager JB Taylor to Join Jeff Cardon on the Wasatch Small Cap Growth Fund
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Wasatch Advisors, Inc. has announced that one of its veteran investment managers has been added as a portfolio manager on the firm's flagship Wasatch Small Cap Growth Fund (WAAEX).
JB Taylor will join long-time lead portfolio manager Jeff Cardon on the Wasatch Small Cap Growth Fund, effective January 31, 2013. Mr. Cardon, who is also the CEO of Wasatch Advisors, has been the portfolio manager of the Small Cap Growth Fund since its inception in 1986.
Mr. Taylor is a 17-year veteran Wasatch investment manager and will continue to be the lead portfolio manager on one of the firm's other small cap strategies, the Wasatch Core Growth Fund (WGROX), which he has managed for over 12 years.

Mr. Taylor began his career at Wasatch in 1996 working as a research analyst on micro cap portfolios, then worked as a senior analyst on the Core Growth Fund and became a portfolio manager on that fund in 2000. He is a graduate of Stanford University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.
