PlayFirst celebrates Hotel Transylvania on DVD with iOS game update

Last fall, PlayFirst partnered with Sony to release Hotel Transylvania Dash on iOS in celebration of the film's release in theaters. Now that it's time for Hotel Transylvania to be released on DVD/Blu-Ray, the two companies have partnered up again to offer a free gameplay update and expansion to Hotel Transylvania Dash fans.

This update gives players a chance to upgrade to the Petrifying Pyramids world for free. This additional gameplay area gives you more levels to complete, and it was previously only available for players that were willing to invest $0.99 to unlock it. If you're unfamiliar with the game, this new venue will see you helping guests by delivering their luggage, bringing them room service, cleaning up any messes, and collecting their tips in classic "Hotel Dash" style.

This update will only be free for a limited time, but while there is a free version of the base game available to download on either iPhone or iPad, the full experience will still set you back $2.99. If nothing else, this update offers you more content for your money, which is always a good thing.
