Costco Holds Quarterly Dividend Steady

Updated

Costco Wholesale has declared its first quarterly dividend for the new year. The company is to pay $0.275 to shareholders of its common stock on Feb. 22. Shareholders of record as of the end of Feb. 8 will be eligible to receive the disbursement.

The payout matches that of the previous three quarters. Prior to that, the retailer had awarded $0.24 per share. This past December, it also paid a one-time, special dividend of $7 per share.

The just-announced payout represents a yield of just over 1% on the company's current stock price.
