Rolls-Royce Awarded $97.3 Million in C-130J Work

On Wednesday, the Department of Defense announced that it has awarded Rolls-Royce a $97.3 million firm-fixed price modification to a previously awarded contract, based on a change in requirements. Pursuant to the contract, Rolls-Royce will provide "logistics support, program management support, engineering services, spares, and technical data support" for Rolls-Royce AE 2100D3 engines installed on Lockheed Martin -built C130J transport aircraft.

Work is to be performed at Rolls-Royce facilities in Indianapolis, and to be completed by Jan. 31, 2014.
