CastleVille 'Cupids' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

Valentine's Day has come to CastleVille, but the game isn't full of happy romances just yet. Instead, Cupid is being a bit mischievous and is making the game's characters fall in love with the wrong people. For instance, Yvette is now fawning over Quinn, rather than her boyfriend Rafael, which is obviously a problem. Alistair's on the case of sorting things right, and we'll need to help him out via nine in-game quests. We're here with a guide to finishing these quests, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started.

Love Triangle

  • Visit Yvette's House

  • Have 3 Honey

  • Place Pink Paint Statue

The Honey can be earned by tending flowers, while the Pink Paint Statue can be placed by simply clicking on the "Place" button in this quest window. For completing this first quest, you'll receive 2,000 coins and 40 XP.

Cupid Catchers

  • Collect from any building

  • Stun 2 Frenzied Cupids

  • Cash Cupid Calmer Spell 2 Times

Frenzied Cupids must first be stunned, and then calmed by casting the Cupid Calmer spell. You can click on the Cupid to stun it, and will then have six hours to actually cast the spell and calm it. The Cupid Calmer Spell can be created using two Rainbow Feathers, three Honey, and more.

After you've calmed a Cupid, you'll receive Charmstones, and will also be able to choose a reward like a Bubbly Grog or Pink Pixie Flower. You'll receive 2,000 coins and 40 XP for finishing this quest.

Relationship Reminder

  • Have 6 Bleeding Hearts Flowers

  • Calm 2 Stunned Cupids

  • Spend 10 Charmstones

The Bleeding Hearts Flowers can be earned by posting a general news item to your wall asking all of your friends for help at once. As for the Charmstones, these are a kind of currency that can be spent within the Charmstone market. You'll receive 2,000 coins, 40 XP and a Love Potion No. 9 when you've finished this quest.

Awefully Awkward

  • Complete Construction on the Pink Paint Statue

  • Collect 1 Bucket of Pink Paint

  • Use 1 Bucket of Pink Paint

The construction takes six Love-in-Idleness Flowers, one Love Potion No. 9, four Iron Bars, and eight Wood Planks to complete. The Flowers can be earned by posting another request to your news feed, while the Love Potions and Iron Bars can be crafted (if you don't still have the Love Potion you were just given in the last quest). The Wood Planks can also be crafted, or you can ask your friends to send you some directly. As you might expect, these Buckets of Pink Paint can be collected from the Pink Paint Statue, and they can then be used to paint the roofs of objects within your Kingdom. After you've finished this quest, you'll receive 2,500 coins and 50 XP.

I Left Something Turned On at Home

  • Cast Cupid Calmer on 3 Stunned Cupids

  • Craft 1 Bottle of Rafael's Cologne

  • Harvest 10 Sugar Cane

The bottles of Rafael's Cologne can be created using Honey, Axes, Pinecones, and more. As for the Sugar Cane, this crop takes six hours to grow, so plant them next to water if you want to speed up their growth. You'll be rewarded with 2,500 coins and 50 XP for completing this quest.

Love Hurts

  • Have 5 Love Bugs

  • Calm 5 Stunned Cupids

  • Craft 3 Flaming Grogs

The Love Bugs are earned by posting another request to your news feed. As for the Stunned Cupids, you'll need to continue tending items in your Kingdom in order to draw out Cupids and then cast the Cupid Calmer spell to calm them down. For the Flaming Grogs, these can be created inside the Kitchen using Pails of Water, Ogres' Belches, and Peppers. You'll receive a Heart Pond decoration, 2,500 coins and 50 XP for completing this quest.

Can't Get Her Out of My Head

  • Calm 5 Stunned Cupids

  • Spend 30 Charmstones in the Charmstone Market

  • Place an Build Chocolate Fountain

The Charmstones can be spent on items like outfits for your avatar, roses for your Kingdom, and even animals or other decorations. You'll be able to purchase more than one thing with 30 Charmstones, and can actually decorate your Kingdom quite nicely for Valentine's Day without breaking the virtual bank. You'll receive 2,500 coins, 50 XP and a Love Seat for finishing this quest. The Love Seat is one of the items available for Charmstones in the market, so don't purchase it unless you want more than one.

Genevieve and Geriatrics

  • Calm 7 Stunned Cupids

  • Use 3 Buckets of Pink Paint

  • Craft 2 Heart-Shaped Lutes

The Heart-Shaped Lutes require Sheet Music, Logs, Reputation Hearts and more to create. The other two tasks can be accomplished by continuing to tend the Pink Paint Statue and continuing to cast Cupid Calmer on any Cupids that you draw out in your Kingdom. For completing this quest, you'll receive 3,250 coins and 65 XP.

The Valentine's Gala

  • Craft 3 Candy Hearts

  • Spend 40 Charmstones

  • Use 3 Buckets of Pink Paint

Again, there are plenty of Valentine's Day decorations in the Charmstone market that go along with the Valentine's Day theme, even if you need to purchase duplicates before you actually reach the 40 Charmstone requirement. Finally, the Candy Hearts require Sugar, Stones, and Chalk to craft. They each take one hour, but you can have all three going at once if you plan it right. By this point, it looks like Alistair (and you) have set things right between CastleVille's many characters, and you'll receive 3,250 coins, 65 XP and a Valentine's Rotunda decoration for completing this final quest. Good luck!
