Defense corporation ManTech has announced that the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO), a counterterror division within the Department of Defense, has awarded the company a contract to provide scientific, engineering, technical, and administrative support.
The CTTSO's agreement comes with a base period of one year, coupled with two one-year options that allow for a maximum contract of $33.5 million. ManTech will provide CTTSO and its offices with services while helping with acquisitions and projects to aid in counterterror solutions.
ManTech's Emerging Markets Group COO and president Terry Ryan commented on the deal in a company press release, saying, "The CTTSO customer has unique operational and technical demands to quickly deploy advanced solutions in support of the global war on terrorism."
