AECOM wins USAID-funded contract for irrigation and watershed-management program in Afghanistan
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AECOM Technology Corporation (NYS: ACM) , a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for public and private clients in more than 130 countries around the world, announced today that it has been awarded a five-year, US$44-million contract by Perini Management Services Inc. as part of a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) irrigation and watershed management program in Afghanistan.
Under the task order, AECOM's work will include capacity-building and institutional strengthening services in the agricultural, irrigation and livestock management sectors, coupled with civil engineering support.
