Donaldson Company Names Jeffrey Spethmann Vice President, Exhaust and Emissions
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYS: DCI) , today announced that it has appointed Jeffrey Spethmann Vice President, Exhaust and Emissions, effective February 18th. Spethmann is currently President and CEO of Waltek, Inc., a manufacturer of investment-cast metal parts and related assemblies.
Spethmann, 48, was previously employed at Donaldson in a variety of engineering and technology positions from 1988 through 1999. From 1999 through 2011, Spethmann held positions of General Manager and then President of Blow Molded Specialties, Inc., a manufacturing company focused on the extrusion of blow molded parts and assemblies. Spethmann holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota's Institute of Technology and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
"Jeff brings a wealth of general management experience, as well as deep operations and technical knowledge, to our global Exhaust and Emissions business," said Bill Cook, Donaldson's CEO. "In this role, Jeff will lead our Exhaust and Emissions business's continuing transition from a muffler business to an emission control business. The Exhaust and Emission business is operating very effectively today, providing a solid foundation for future key project wins from our global Customers."
