Regions Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend on Common and Preferred Shares

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Regions Financial Corporation (NYS: RF) Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 1 cent per common share, payable April 1, 2013, to stockholders of record as of March 15, 2013.

In addition, the Board of Directors authorized payment of a quarterly cash dividend related to the outstanding shares of its 6.375% Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series A (the "Series A Preferred Stock"). Each outstanding share of the Series A Preferred Stock is represented by depositary shares, each representing a 1/40th interest in a share of Series A Preferred Stock. The dividend of $15.9375 per share (equivalent to approximately $0.398438 per $25 par depositary share) will be paid on March 15, 2013, to stockholders of record at the close of business on March 1, 2013.
