Capco Announces North American Onshore Delivery Center
Orlando-based facility to offer wide range of IT application, infrastructure and data support
Established as part of Capco's Onshore Services
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Capco, the global business and technology consultancy dedicated solely to the financial services industry, today announced the opening of its onshore delivery center, located in Orlando, Florida. The facility, established as part of Capco's Onshore Services, will supply financial institutions commodity technology services in conjunction with expert strategy provided by Capco's consultants.
The Orlando Onshore Delivery Center, wholly owned by Capco, provides a low-cost, highly leveraged service model as a complement to on-site, nearshore and offshore delivery. The facility currently offers comprehensive development and testing services, in addition to application maintenance and support, with future plans to include on-demand services such as Project Management and Architecture as a Service. With a team of 40 already in place, the center is expected to grow to more than 150 professionals by the end of 2013.
"By being dedicated solely to the financial sector, Capco's understanding of industry processes, products and culture helps clients smooth the transition from solution design to an execution environment," said Scott Claus, Partner and Leader of the Technology Group in North America. "As organizations continue to face cost-reduction needs, coupled with ever-evolving IT complexity and regulatory changes, Capco's Onshore Delivery Center Services provide the necessary expertise and delivery potential to help clients overcome industry challenges and excel in this highly competitive market."
Capco's Onshore Delivery Center Services can help financial institutions strike the essential balance between cost control and competent, successful handling of complex conversions and implementations. Offering a wide range of application, infrastructure and data support services, clients will be able to avail immediate benefits, at up to 40 percent less than the cost of hiring an outside team to handle a project on-site.
"The establishment of an Onshore Delivery Center is yet another vital component of the global delivery network offered by Capco to its clients. It allows clients greater flexibility and choice in determining locations, operating models and cost structures that best suit their needs," said Neil Ramchandran, Managing Partner, India and Global Head of Outsourcing. "Through the delivery center and Capco's Onshore Services, clients can be confident that the strategic insight provided by Capco consultants will be implemented in a streamlined, efficient manner, while also ensuring that costs are in line with the organization's objectives."
