MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE - PKE) announced the appointment of Mark C. Gable as Director of Strategic Situations of Park Electrochemical Corp. In this position, Mr. Gable will report to Steven Pittari, Vice President - Aerospace of Park Electrochemical Corp. and President of Park's Park Aerospace Technologies Corp. business unit located in Newton, Kansas.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Gable was employed by Sanmina-SCI Corp. and its predecessor, Hadco Corporation, in various positions since 1988. He was Director of Manufacturing - Asia Operations of Sanmina-SCI China Ltd. in 2004 and 2005, Vice President and Managing Director of Sanmina-SCI (Bhd.) Ltd. in Kuching, Malaysia from 2005 to 2010 and Vice President and General Manager of Sanmina-SCI Corp. in Owego, New York from 2010 to December 2012.
