Already this season, the U.S. has experienced its earliest flu season in nearly 10 years with areas across the country having higher-than-normal flu rates. In Philadelphia, more than one million adult residents have experienced troublesome cold and flu symptoms and nearly 918,000 have reported suffering from cough.
