SimCity Social 'Rock Royalty Part 3' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

We've already made our way through the first two portions of the Rock Royalty event in SimCity Social, but there's still one more set of quests to complete before your Sims can rock out in their brand new Rock Festival. There are four quests to complete in Part 3 of the Rock Royalty event, and we're here with a complete guide to finishing them off, thanks to the game's official forums. Let's get started!

The Mysterious Mrs. B

  • Have a 1-Star Hit Factory

  • Collect 1,500 Materials from the Hit Factory

If you're reached this quest, then you've likely already got a Hit Factory in your city, unless you paid Diamonds to skip its task before making it this far. If you're just planning ahead, here's a rundown of this factory. It costs 72,000 Simoleons to purchase in the store, and it's an actual Factory that produces 305 Materials every five and half hours. To upgrade it, you'll need six energy and 6,240 Materials in all. When this first quest is complete, you'll receive five Llama Manure as your reward (thanks Playfish?).

Everyone's A Critic

  • Ask for 3 Album Reviews

  • Have a 3-Star Record Store

The Album Reviews can be earned by posting a general request to your news feed. As for the Record Store upgrades, this building requires 15 energy and 6,900 Materials just to reach one star. From there, you'll need to spend 20 energy and

13,600 Materials to reach the 2-Star rating, and a final 25 energy and 34,000 Materials to hit the final 3-Star level. If, for some reason, you've yet to purchase one of these buildings, or have deleted it, you can purchase one in the store for 68,000 Simoleons. You'll receive 15,000 Simoleons back for completing this quest.

Plan B

  • Buy a Leather Jacket

  • Find a Studded Collar

  • Buy Black Eye Liner

This quest is relatively simple, provided you have the buildings to complete them. You'll need to use a Textile Mill, a Rock Club and a Department Store to fulfill these three tasks. If you don't have these buildings, you can purchase them from the store for 17,000 Simoleons, 30,000 Simoleons, and 60,000 Simoleons each, respectively. If you don't have these buildings, and also don't want to build them (or simply don't have the room in your city to do so), you should be able to tend your friends' structures, so try that out just in case. You'll receive another 20,000 Simoleons for completing this quest.

A Song from the Heart

  • Serenade Felicity

This quest is more of a technicality than anything else, as it wraps up the storyline surrounding Felicity and her hate (and love) of the music industry. You'll need to interact with a Modern Art Museum to finish this "serenade" task, so if you don't have a Modern Art Museum, you can purchase one in the store for 60,000 Simoleons and 15,000 Materials. Again, you might be able to complete this quest by interacting with a friend's museum, but that's never a guarantee. For completing this final quest in the entire Rock Royalty event, you'll receive 10,000 Simoleons and the Rock Festival, an exclusive item that isn't available to purchase in the rock 'n roll them in the store. Good luck finishing these quests and claiming your prize(s) before these quests expire in 12 days!
