SimCity Social 'Rock Royalty Part 1' Quests: Everything you need to know
Doc Around the Clock
- Build the Rock Club
- Collect from the Mocktail Bar
The Rock Club is a new business that's available to purchase in the store for 30,000 Simoleons. The base takes five energy to build, and you'll need a Cash Register, two Advertisements and two Platinum Records to finish off its construction. It pays out 400 coins at its first level every 48 minutes, but you won't need to actually collect from it in order to finish this quest. Meanwhile, the Mocktail Bar costs 160 Fame (gold friendship ribbons) to build, so if you haven't built one in your own game, you'll need to do that now. To be especially clear, you can't just tend a Mocktail Bar in a friend's city, since this task specifically wants you to collect profits from the Mocktail Bar, and not just complete a third-party action in it. When you complete this first quest, you'll receive three X-Rays.
Home of the Stars
- Collect from the Rock Club
- Have 1 Platinum Record
Again, once built, the Rock Club will pay out every 48 minutes, so you shouldn't have to wait too long to complete this quest. The Platinum Record is earned by simply asking your friends to send you one, or by paying Diamonds to earn one automatically. When you finish this simple quest, you'll receive 10,000 Simoleons.
Who's That Girl?
- Retrieve Roger's Groupie Scrapbook
- Check Rodger's Fan Mail
These three tasks might sound complicated, but they really only require you to tend three specific items. You'll need to complete tasks inside a University, a Hotel, and a Scenic Pond to finish these three tasks, and you should be able to complete them in friends' towns, if you don't have any of these items in your own town. When you complete this final goal in Part 1 of the Rock Royalty event, you'll receive three Cowbells and will be one step closer to the ultimate prize: the Rock Festival.
