Every Friday, we scan the weekly ads, deal sites and retailer marketing emails to find the best deals available for the coming week. Here are a few of the best freebies and limited-time offers we found.

GradSave is a service that lets you set up a registry for people to donate to your child's college savings fund. For the next 11 days, the site is running a deal on LivingSocial: a $50 gift card for such a donation for just $24. That means you can donate $50 to any 529 savings plan – your child's plan, or someone else's college-bound child – for just $24. There's a limit of one per customer plus up to five purchased as gifts, but the fine print says there's a limit of one voucher per plan, so don't think you can donate $300 to your kid's plan for just $144. Also, while it's not clear whether supplies are limited, the deal has been massively popular: As of this writing, the deal has crashed GradSave's site.

Abercrombie and Fitch, like many other specialty apparel retailers this month, is continuing to offer good post-holiday deals. This weekend it's 25% off all orders via the coupon code 15244, which is valid through Monday, Jan. 14. All orders placed on the site also have a flat-rate shipping fee of $5 through January 22. The 25%-off discount is also good in stores, though Abercrombie outlets and the Abercrombie store on Fifth Ave. in New York City are excluded.

If you're ordering pizza to go with your playoff football this weekend, you can get 50% off any large pizza from Papa John's when you use the code NFL50 on the website. While it worked when we tested it, the folks in the SlickDeals forum are finding that the code only works in some locations, and forum members are currently compiling a list of cities where the code worked. To test it, go to "special offers" on the Papa John's site and enter your address and the code. The code is good through this Sunday, Jan. 13.
