Xerox CFO Stepping Down in February

On Friday, Xeroxannounced that Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri is leaving the company to take a corporate controller job at Apple .

He will resign from Xerox effective Feb. 28, and will assist in the search for his replacement. The company has launched an external search for a new CFO. Maestri joined Xerox as CFO in February 2011.

Coincident with the report of its CFO's departure, Xerox reiterated that the company is maintaining fourth-quarter earnings guidance of $0.24 to $0.26 per share in GAAP earnings. The official release date for Q4 and full-year 2012 earnings is Jan. 24.
