This week's new theme in The Sims Social is Victorian Romance, and players are introduced to Bella's Aunt Lilly. Aunt Lilly is a world famous novelist, and has a bit of a writer's block with her latest romance novel. You're enlisted to help Aunt Lilly by providing her areas of inspiration from the Victorian romance era.

Below is the step-by-step guide for readers--straight from The Sims Social team at Playfish--to discover how to finish this week's quest quickly and earn the most rewards. Completing this week's quest will give players a hot air balloon for their Sims.

Step 1 – A Lily By Any Other Name

  • 'I'm Lily's biggest fan!'

  • Get the Ivory Tower Tree House

  • 'Brush Up'


Visit Bella, click her and then 'I'm Lily's biggest fan!' Get the Ivory Tower Tree House from the shop and put it in your house. Click on a bookshelf and 'Brush Up' on Victorian Literature. Do this three times. Rewards: 10 LP, 40 Simoleons, 15 XP, 2 Energy, Goodwill

Step 2 – A Lily By Any Other Name

  • Collect Five Watering Cans

  • Find Three Gardening Tool Set

  • Harvest Four Red Flowers


Collect five watering cans and three gardening tool sets by asking friends to send you some. Click on garden plots to grow and harvest red flowers. Rewards: 10 LP, 50 Simoleons, 20 XP, 2 Energy, Love

Step 3 – A Lily By Any Other Name

  • Buy the VicAges

  • 'Harpbreak Hotel!'

  • Click on three Sims and 'Read Poetry' to them


Buy the VicAges Harp from the shop and put it in your Sim's house. It cost 15,000 Simoleons. Click on the VicAges Harp and select the option 'Harpbreak Hotel!' Do this three times. Then go ahead and click on 3 Sims and 'Read Poetry' to them. Rewards: 10 LP, 70 Simoleons, 25 XP, 3 Energy, Paint Cans

Step 4 – A Lily By Any Other Name

  • Get 3 Revelation

  • Buy a VicAges Mannequin

  • Complete your VicAges Mannequin


Collect three Revelation by asking friends to send you some. Or you could build Evergreen Birdhouse or collect them from Pendants that you will find outside your Sim's house. Buy either the male or female VicAges Mannequin from the shop and place it in your Sim's house. It cost 5,500 Simoleons. And then go ahead and complete your VicAges Mannequin by getting all required collectibles. Rewards: 20 LP, 30 XP, 100 Simoleons, 3 Energy

Step 5 – A Lily By Any Other Name

  • Collect 3 Paint Can

  • Harvest 5 Purple Flowers

  • Complete Stage 1 of The Ivory Tower Tree House


Collect three Paint Cans by asking friends to send you some or you could collect them from Pendants lying outside your Sim's house. Complete stage one of The Ivory Tower Tree House by completing all four steps. And don't forget to click on garden plots to plant and harvest five purple flowers. Rewards: 30 LP, 120 Simoleons, 35 XP, 3 Energy, Revelation

Step 6 – A Lily By Any Other Name

  • 'The Book's Done!'

  • Complete the Ivory Tower Tree House

  • 'Swing Away Together'


Visit Bella, click on her and then tell her 'The Book's Done!' Complete the Ivory Tower Tree House by finishing both stages. Ask Over a Sim, click on the Ivory Tower Tree House and 'Swing Away Together' Do this three times. Rewards: 40 LP, 150 Simoleons, 40 XP, 3 Energy, Ship in a Bottle
